NISOC takes more than 95,000 samples to control the quality
Head of NISOC Chemical & central laboratories said:” to control transferred oil to refineries and Khark Terminal, tests were carried out within 5 subsidiary producing companies.”
Referring to determination of oil quality specifications he continued:” all outlet crude from production units of Gachsaran, Aghajari, Karoun, Maroun and Masjed Soleyman will be tested by conducting tests and taking required samples.”
He further mentioned that more than 23,000 gas analyses and gas & gas liquids, about 7000 analyses of formation water, drinking water and desalting wastewater, nearly 600 evaluative tests on corrosion preventers, demulsifires and acid additives, about 300 analyses on in-hole sediments& heat exchangers and processing tanks were all carried out in this department.
NISOC Chemical & central laboratories department plays a dominant role in line with activities within oil engineering department and has a major stake in quality control of produced oil & gas in terms of specified standards.
